GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
This is a full-time Data and Evaluation Specialist for the Northern Arizona Area Health Education Center (NAHEC) and North Country HealthCare. The Data and Evaluation Specialist will assist with the collection, input, and analysis of program data and will support programs in youth career preparation, community health, continuing education, and health professions clinical training. The service area includes Coconino, Yavapai, Navajo, and Apache Counties, focusing on rural and medically underserved areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Serve as the data liaison for the Arizona AHEC Program and be the primary person responsible for entry of service data into applicable software programs.
  2. Design program data and evaluation surveys and coordinate data collection for youth career preparation, health professions training, and continuing education programs.
  3. Develop and implement longitudinal follow up processes for contacting program graduates.
  4. Utilize various software platforms for program monitoring, data collection, and analysis.
  5. Develop and produce regular data reports, evaluation summaries, and analyses of program outcomes for internal and grant reporting.
  6. Provide assistance and support for the design, implementation, and evaluation of a wide variety of healthcare workforce development and community health programs while demonstrating effective prioritization.
  7. Perform office coordination duties such as mailings, preparation of informational packets and materials, ordering and stocking of office supplies, and other tasks.
  8. Communicate effectively through phone, email, and face to face with colleagues, students, healthcare providers, healthcare center personnel, and others.
  9. Set measurable goals and objectives and assist with the fulfillment of the AzAHEC contract scope of work. Monitor and report on progress.
  10. Lead specific health career preparation, clinical training, continuing education, and/or community health programs as assigned.
  11. Support, develop, and expand mutually beneficial partnerships with government, tribal, healthcare, academic, private, non-profit, and other institutions.
  12. Assist with program sustainability building (i.e. grant writing, fundraising), as applicable.
  13. Assist with developing policies and procedures and implementing process improvement efforts.
  14. Possess a valid AZ driver's license and travel throughout the state and region as necessary.
  15. Develop and maintain professional working relationships with all clinic staff, clients, healthcare institutions, academic institutions, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
  16. Be a part of a team, cooperate in accomplishing department goals and objectives, and uphold the North Country and NAHEC missions.Regular and predictable attendance.
  17. Continuous learning in both personal and professional development.
  18. Consistent review, comprehension and reply of company email and related correspondence.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Four year college degree or equivalent experience resulting in a broad knowledge of business administration plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training.
