ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Mixes pharmaceutical preparations, fills bottles with prescribed tablets and capsules, and types labels for bottles.
  2. Assists Staff Pharmacists to prepare and dispense medication.
  3. Receives and stores incoming supplies.
  4. Counts stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
  5. Processes records of medication and equipment dispensed to customer, computes charges, and enters data in computer.
  6. Cleans equipment and sterilizes glassware according to prescribed methods.
  7. Interacts with other medical professionals to fulfill clinic stocking needs.
  8. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

  1. PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) licensure
  2. CPT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) licensure
  3. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Starting at $36,700 annually or more, depending on experience
  • Medical insurance starts Day One for less than $5 per paycheck!
  • 22 days of combined sick and vacation leave, plus 6 federal holidays, in first year
