Family Medicine Physician

Primary & Urgent Care


This full-time, year-round position is located within Grand Canyon National Park...live and work at one of the seven wonders of the world!! Grand Canyon is home to a few thousand employees and their families in addition to hosting several million visitors each year. This FNP will treat residents and visitors in both a primary care and urgent care setting. Housing within Grand Canyon National Park is available with this position. Imagine walking down the street and seeing the Canyon every day!!

  • We put patients first and turn no one away
  • We offer wrap-around services (Ryan White program, diabetes, Well Woman HealthCheck, sexual assault survivors, maternal/child health, substance abuse, care management for complex cases, and more) and integrate medical care with behavioral health (including recovery from substance abuse), on-site labs, and pharmacy
  • We teach the next generation
  • We take care of our own providers and staff

To become a part of our amazing clinic team, you must

  • Have earned an MD or DO degree and completed a family medicine residency
  • Be board eligible or board certified
  • Have experience in both primary care and rural urgent care settings (closest hospital is in Flagstaff, 80 miles away)
  • Have complete competency in treating high-acuity patients and performing sutures, I&D, splinting, and making preliminary radiograph reads
  • Have the desire to engage in a small, but incredibly diverse, community that lives in the Grand Canyon, and be surrounded by fantastic natural beauty every day
