Ready for your next adventure?

Have the excitement of a travel position but the security of a steady, full-time job -- become a traveling Family Nurse Practitioner and experience some of Arizona's most beautiful places!

We are seeking Family Nurse Practitioner with the ability and desire to travel to any of the 12 communities in our network: Bullhead City, Flagstaff, Grand Canyon Village, Holbrook, Kingman, Lake Havasu, Payson, Round Valley, Seligman, Show Low, Williams, and Winslow. These communities range in size from 700 to 70,000 and are located in the pine forest mountains, high plains, true desert, and along the Colorado River. We require that our FNP Traveler have a permanent residence within approximately a 30-minute drive from any one of our clinic locations. Mileage and lodging will be reimbursed for travel to other locations.

  • Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions in patients of all ages.
  • Prescribing diagnostic and screening tests.
  • Acting as primary care provider and coordinating additional services.
  • Prescribing and dispensing medications as authorized under privileges set forth by the Arizona Board of Nursing.
  • Participating in a system that identifies and monitors disease/disability rates or health indices in the community.
  • Demonstrating continuous learning and eagerness for professional development.

  • Wondering if you are making a positive impact -- you will see the benefits of quality healthcare on individuals, families, and the community regularly.
  • Feeling isolated -- an integrated care model reduces physician burn-out because it offers wrap-around services and programs beyond the exam room to care for your patients.
  • Missing out on life -- as an out-patient facility, we are not open on major holidays. After-hours call is only two weeks per year.
  • Paying for malpractice insurance or tail coverage -- as an FQHC, providers are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act.

  • Licensed family nurse practitioner
  • Four years or more of work experience as an FNP in a primary care setting
  • Preference given to candidates with rural, underserved, or FQHC experience
