HR Business Partner Northeastern Arizona Region

North Country has evolved into a leading regional outpatient community health center. Our clinics are in 12 communities across the I-40 corridor from New Mexico to California.

Job summary: Are you already known as someone who drives positive culture and is eager to do the right thing? Is HR the only career you can imagine for you? We are looking for a HR Business Partner who will be the liaison between our staff and management to answer questions considering policies, practices, HR regulations, employment documentation, job evaluation, employee leave status, etc. In other words, you will be working with managers and staff members through all things Employment Law and Employee Relations related. Those things include:

  • Understanding and application of HR best practices.
  • Assessing and responding to high level employee relations issues including employee misconduct, harassment and discrimination investigations.
  • Assisting with HR projects as necessary.
  • Supporting other HRBPs.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Five (5) or more years as a HR Generalist as well as have a broad perspective and knowledge of multiple areas of HR such as labor/employee relations, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT:

  • Certified Professional HR (PHR) or Senior Professional HR (SPHR).
  • Ability to establish strong partnerships with functional and business leaders to develop and execute on long and short-term HR strategies that directly support the business.
  • Innovative, future-oriented and open to new thoughts and ideas.
  • Willing to challenge the status quo and be a strong influencer.
  • Ability to build team morale and promote corporate culture.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
