Managing and resolving incoming and outgoing calls regarding patient accounts. Reviewing and correcting patient accounts for accuracy.


  1. Answer incoming calls regarding patient accounts and discuss payment options.
  2. Process daily self pay and sliding fee scale tickets.
  3. Work with outside vendor to resolve questions and patient disputes regarding outstanding balances.
  4. Audits performed from spreadsheets to review/correct accounts for accuracy and possible refunds to patients.
  5. May assist posting patient payments.
  6. Other duties as assigned.Regular and predictable attendance.
  7. Continuous learning in both personal and professional development.
  8. Consistent review, comprehension and reply of company email and related correspondence.


  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  2. 12 to 18 months of medical billing experience (preferred).
  3. Strong customer service skills.
  4. Excellent attention to detail.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to professionally and effectively exchange and convey information.
  6. Stable work history with less than three jobs in the past five years.
